Factory Seconds are Michael Tomlinson, Katie Wilkinson, Marta Milanese and Michael Evans.

They produce Indie music inspired by bands such as The Feelies, The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, New Order, Talking Heads & Young Marble Giants, marrying post-punk bass lines, shoegaze fuzz and pop melodies to create uplifting textural pieces of indie pop music.

Ever since their first single, 'Caught in the Layers' came out on Art is Hard, they have thrown themselves into the East London scene with a scrappy, DIY attitude. Their contemporaries include Whenyoung, Average Sex, H Grimace, Wesley Gonzales, Underwater Boys, Thee MVPs, Lice, Vinyl Staircase and Two Tribes. All of their music is either recorded in their small North East London studio or with their friend Chris Smith at Kluster Rooms in Limehouse. The artwork is also produced by the band's guitarist, Marta.
